Am 18.2. gibt es endlich mal wieder eine harte Metal Night im Mundwerk. Durch den Abend begleiten uns die polnische Metal-Band Materia und als Support Accreation. Wie immer noch ein kleines Video zum reinhören und ein paar Infos zu den beiden Bands.

Türöffnung um 20 Uhr, die erste Band beginnt um 21 Uhr.

MATERIA-------------------------------------------------------
Materia is a relatively young band based in Szczecinek, Poland. Formed in November, 2007 by two brothers Michał “Mihu” and Tadeusz “Tede” Piesak and their good friend Jakub “Marcia” Marciniak. The band surprisingly quickly started writing its own material. Finally in the beginning of 2009 they released their first demo “Vandals”. In 2010 Adrian “Adi” Dubiński joined Materia on the second guitar. His talent opened the band for new better sound and it was another step ahead. A Year later their first official EP called “Holidays On The Angels Island” (2011) was out. Materia had officially became popular in whole Poland, which led to them play the shows all over the country, winning young band competitions and starts to play therir first polish tours. After 6 years Materia gets to the breaking point of their musician path. On the begin of 2013 they finished and released first LP “Case of Noise” and gets to “Must be the music” – the most popular talent show in Poland. Finally 2nd place give them chance to promote their music in mainstream television and spread the word about band not only among metal fans. Until that time band played over 150 shows all over the country and they still have more and more offers. Currently the band is working on new material, that is about to be released in the begining of 2014. Till this time they are determined to reach their first European Tour with Russian friends from Change of Loyalty! Stay tuned… history just begins.

They played on such festivals as: Sonisphire (2010), Przystanek Woodstock (2011), Jarocin Festial (2010). Metal Fest (2013).


ACCREATION----------------------------------------------------
Im Jahr 2009 gründeten die beiden Gitarristen Patrick Lanz und Stefan Wenger eine "Band".
Zusammen mit Kollege Simon Furer machten sie Musik und hatten Ihren Spass.
Dem Ganzen fehlte allerdings noch der rhytmische Unterteil,also machte man sich auf die Suche nach einem Drummer und einem Bassisten.

Anfang 2009 erfuhr Stefan Wenger durch einen Kollegen von einem Drummer, der keine Band hatte und sogar im selben Büro arbeitete.
Gesagt, getan, 2 Wochen später war mit Fabio Endrich ein Mann hinter der "Burg" gefunden.

Im Frühling 2009 trennte sich die Band aus musikalischen Gründen von Simon Furer.
Im Sommer 09 fand man mit dem Namen Accreation einen starken Bandnamen mit zugehörigem Logo und Schriftzug (entworfen von Manuel Castellote, www.manuele.ch)

Immer noch auf der verzweifelten Suche nach einem Bassisten, kamen die Drei auf die Idee die Musik zu dritt weiter zu komponieren, wobei Patrick Lanz teils Bass teils Rhytmusgitarre spielen sollte.
Einige Tage später meldete sich Patric Bütikofer auf ein Inserat der Band und nach einer Jam-Session zu viert war auch er an Bord des Thrash Metal Schiffes.

Im Oktober 2009 rief das Vaterland: Stefan Wenger und Patrick Lanz mussten in den Militärdienst.

Es folgte eine lange Durststrecke und so entschied sich Patric Bütikofer bei Accreation auszusteigen und sich seinen anderen musikalischen Verpflichtungen zu widmen.

Nach langer Zeit entpuppte sich der Militärkollege von Patrick Lanz, Pascal Mokalis, als begeisterter Basser.
Fortan sollte er den Job mit den tiefen Tönen übernehmen.
