Souls Revival was formed by drummer Flavio Mezzodi (currently a member of Switzerland’s most successful rock act Krokus) and guitarist Stefan Schroff. These two guys have been playing together in various acts since age 18. In 2013 they played in Fox, supporting Gotthard on their Swiss-tour, and in 2008 they had their own band Felskinn which gained quite a good reputation in the Swiss metal scene. Felskinn played some gigs with the band Pure Inc where they met singer Gianni Pontillo who's currently also fronting The Order. After the disband of Felskinn, Flavio and Stefan started to play as sidemen and session players for some of the biggest swiss pop and rock acts as well as in some very successful stage productions. During this time they played with Luca Leombruni, one of the most sought after bass players in Switzerland who has played for Baschi, Knucklebones, Fabian Anderhub and others.
Fast forward, and after many gigs as hired guns, drummer Flavio Mezzodi and guitar player Stefan Schroff felt the desire to express their musical roots through original songs and a kick ass four piece. Some phone calls later they had a first session with Gianni Pontillo on vocals and Luca Leombruni on bass which showed the immense potential of this powerful group instantly. Souls Revival was born.
Currently the guys are busy writing songs inspired by the godfathers of rock with a modern edge. Souls Revival is pure rock. No remorse, no regret. No bullshit, no keyboards or computers. What you hear is what you get: Pure rock featuring a singer who can actually sing and stage approved musicians that will rock your balls off.

THE HIRONDELLES (GR) Rock (50 Jahre auf der Bühne!!)

Seit wann gibt es die Les Hirondelles: Die Band wurde durch Paul Scherrer, Florian (Flo) Derungs und Jürg Matthis im Jahre 1962 in Chur gegründet. Seit 1964 ist die heutige Formation (neu dabei ist Lieni) zusammen auf der Bühne!
Musikrichtung: Rock, Beat und Pop aus den 60er Jahren. (Hit's von den Shadows, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jimmy Hendrix, Small faces, Dave Dee, Kinks, Spencer Davis Group, Jeff Beck, Hollies etc.)
Aktivitäten: Aktiv von: 1962-1969. Konzerte vor allem in der deutschen Schweiz, im Tessin und in Süddeutschland. Mit etwas Stolz blicken wir zurück auf die 60er Jahre, an unsere Auftritte an genialen Konzertorte, wo nachfolgend aufgeführte Bands sich die Türklinke in die Hand gaben. Nebst Top-Bands wie Lords, Creation, etc. die dazumal grosse Hits hatten, spielten wir auch mit zu dieser Zeit nicht so bekannten newcomer Band zusammen. Speziell in Erinnerung geblieben ist uns das Konzert im Hirschen mit OzzyOsbourne und Black Sabbath, wo wir uns stündlich an einem Konzertabend abwechselten....heute unglaublich. Wiederbeginn in den 90er Jahren u.a. in gleicher Formation.
Höhepunkte: Referenz-Orte: Zürich: Tropic: (John Mayall, Mick Taylor). Zürich: Hirschen: (Pink Floyd, OzzyOsbourne mit Black Sabbath, Lords, Kings, Creation etc.). Basel: Krug und Atlantis: (mit verschiedenen Gruppen aus England). St. Gallen: Africano: (Jeff Beck, Rod Steward). Vaduz: (TenYears after, Alvin Lee).
